Currently, he is said to be busy with the shooting of a new movie and this time, he is pairing up with the apple pie beauty Hansika Motwani.Sources say that the film has completed the first schedule of shooting and this is being directed by Eswar of ‘Siddu from Seekakulam’ fame while Malla Vijayprasad is producing this one.The film is being made under the banner of Wellfare Creations and it is slated to be made on the backdrop of college with romance as the key element.The makers are looking at November for its release.

Just a few days back reports about the so-called war between Bollywood hotties Priyanka Chopra & Mallika Sherawat were doing the rounds, as to who’s got more popularity on the social networking site Twitter. It was being said that Priyanka has more followers than Mallika. While Mallika has around 8000 fan-following on Twitter than Priyanka has a record of 10,000 fans in a month.

On knowing about Priyanka’s claiming sources, Bollywood’s hottest diva Mallika Sherawat herself, speaks out, ‘I was encouraged by Twitter employees to help get more Bollywood celebrities and their fans on Twitter, and I’m so happy Priyanka fell into my trap!’

‘In a country of over a billion, we still have a long way to go. 10,000 followers on Twitter is just the beginning. And in the end, whether it’s the number of followers one has on Twitter, or like most other things– it’s not the size that matters, it’s what you do with them that counts. In fact, there are many Indians who have more followers on Twitter than both Priyanka and myself combined. They and the people who joined Twitter from the beginning are pioneers.’

She went on jokingly, ‘And if people really wanna make a controversy out of myself and Priyanka being on Twitter, they’ve come to the right place! I hereby challenge Priyanka to a virtual ‘Tweet-off!’ When asked what a ‘tweet-off’ would mean, she admitted, ‘I have no idea. Let the followers decide.’

A source close to the actress also adds, ”Mallika Sherawat was the first who became aware of the importance of Twitter. At the behest of her HISSS producers, Mallika started ‘tweeting’ on the website while living in Los Angeles during the film’s post-production. Soon after, Mallika became a regular tweeter, enjoying the direct interaction with fans, friends and family back home in India, as well as the creative outlet the service provided her.’

”Since Mallika started tweeting, she has garnered thousands of followers and a simple google search shows that many press reports have since been written about Twitter in India, spurring some to charge that Mallika pioneered the Twitter craze currently happening in India. The perception was further solidified when Mallika was invited by Twitter to visit their headquarters in San Francisco, the first star from Asia to be given the honor. Mallika even visited Twitter, met the employees and danced with the CEO Evan Williams at the Twitter HQ and was even crowned as ‘Queen of Twitter’.’

A US source familiar with the media’s treatment, but not associated with either Mallika or Priyanka, suggests, ‘I think its doubtful Priyanka would have even joined Twitter if Mallika didn’t make it famous all over India first.’

Mallika will be leading a parade for India Independence Day in the US, where besides visiting Twitter HQ she has been receiving awards, meeting with Hollywood celebs and being introduced around town by industry VIPs as the new ‘Hollywood ‘It’ Girl’. Mallika is also the first star from Asia to have a milkshake named in her honor at Hollywood hotspot Millions of Milkshakes.

Bollywood Sexy Actress Kareena Kapoor has been appointed the brand ambassador of Gitanjali’s bridal wear brands Parineeta, Sagaee and ME Solitaire. She talks about marriage and what diamonds mean to her.

As expected Kareena sparkled like a diamond in a white and pink saree. That she looked absolutely stunning is an understatement.

“Diamonds are a woman’s best friend. Jewellery makes a woman even more beautiful. I am very choosy about the brands I endorse and Gitanjali is all about quality over quantity,” asserted the beauty.

“I like my diamonds to be solitaires. I absolutely adore them. I would like a diamond of 2 or 3 carats in a beautiful, lovely setting in yellow gold,” she said.

In the Gitanjali ads, she plays a dual role and looks gorgeous in both. “In one ad I am a young Indian ethnic bride and in the other I am a glamourous girl. My fans get to see me in two very different avatars.”

And has Saif seen the ads yet? “He hasn’t seen the ad yet as he has been very busy with Love Aaj Kal,” was her quick reply.

Bebo has played a bride several times in her filmy career. So what about real life? “When Karisma was getting married, we were in a room where she was getting ready in front of the mirror. She told me that she felt she was going for a shot. She said she has taken the saat phere with so many heroes and in so many films, that it all felt like a movie. That is what she felt. As far as I am concerned, I don’t know how I will feel on that day. I will only think and know about it on that day. I am not thinking about it right now. I haven’t made any marriage plans yet. I don’t intend to marry for the next two years,” she explained, adding, “Marriages are made in heaven. The Destiny that God has given us will happen as He has ordained it to happen.”

Katrina is endorsing Nakshatra and Bipasha also endorses Gitanjali. So does Kareena feel any competition? “I don’t feel any competition as far as endorsements are concerned. I think the more the merrier,” said the confident Diva.

“I am designing a jewellery line for them that will have shades of my personality. The kind of jewellery that I like is elegant and classic. I love earrings, neckpieces and rings in diamonds especially solitaires, emeralds and rubies. My sister and mother keep gifting them to me. My family pampers me a lot. My birthday is also coming and I am expecting huge surprises,” concludes the Kapoor heiress.

In her next movie ‘Accident on Hill Road’ she’ll be playing a negative character and she reportedly took 15 days to decide on the right style for the character and chose a very vampy appearance. She also joined a 10 day acting workshop to brush up on her acting skills.

Celina has donned a new hairdo with much shorter hair in this thriller produced by Nari Hira of Magna Films. The new hairdo has changed Celina’s appearance so much that one takes a couple of seconds of closer look before one realizes the fact that it is indeed Celina on the frame.

“The new look has been created by Hakim. It was required to cut 10 inches of hair for the look. However, what he ended up doing was save locks of ten inches for me”, laughs Celina.

Directed by debutant Mahesh Nair, the film also stars Farooq Sheikh and Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh. The film shows how Farooq and Celina cross paths when Celina’s car hits Farooq in a freak road accident. What happens thereafter forms the crux of the film.

The promo shows Mallika Sherawat slithering in mud and becoming a deadly snake and that is when her naked butt is visible! Now it is learnt that it is not her but her body double who has given this nude shot.

Mallika Sherawat may throw the attitude of a dare bare girl making bold statements and wearing even bolder clothes both and off screen but it seems when it comes to ‘real exposure’ even she can develop cold feet it seems. Sources claim, the actress insisted on a body double for a scene in which she sheds her skin in the forest.

The final call was taken by director Jennifer Lynch who seeing Mallika’s apprehension agreed for the body double.

Earlier during the making of Murder Mallika had developed cold feet while giving a nude shot and a body double had to be used by Mahesh Bhatt. While signing the film, she had initially agreed for the same. The shot was supposed to be a nude Mallika dropping down her clothes and taking a dip dive into her villa’s swimming pool.

The plot of Hissss revolves around a snake woman played by Mallika Sherawat looking for revenge. Irrfan and Divya Dutta play a couple and reportedly there is a very passionately shot love making scene between the two.
